VENTUNO Skylounge, situated on the 21st floor of the Ruby-Emma Hotel in Amsterdam, is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Bar Manager. As our Bar Manager, you will play a pivotal role in crafting unforgettable experiences for our guests, overseeing all aspects of our beverage operations with finesse and creativity. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an innovative and enticing drink menu that reflects VENTUNO Skylounge’s brand and ambiance.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, including inventory management, ordering, and maintaining bar levels to ensure smooth operation.
- Lead and inspire a team of bartenders, providing training, guidance, and support to maintain exceptional service standards.
- Create a welcoming and engaging environment for guests, ensuring they receive an exceptional and memorable experience.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and increase profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and legal regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Bar Manager or similar role in a high-end bar or restaurant environment.
- Experience creating and executing innovative and successful beverage programs.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, and wine, with a commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy trays and equipment;
- Ability to stand for long periods and navigate a busy bar environment.
