We are seeking an experienced and professional Waiter/Waitress to join our high-end Italian restaurant, VENTUNO, on the 21st floor of the Ruby-Emma Hotel in Amsterdam. You will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is unforgettable. Responsibilities
- greet and seat guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a prompt and courteous manner;
- respond to customer inquiries and special requests, providing recommendations and suggestions;
- ensure a clean and well-maintained dining room, setting and clearing tables as needed;
- collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure a seamless dining experience;
- participate in regular training and development opportunities to improve skills and knowledge;
- follow established service standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience as a Waiter/Waitress or similar role in a high-end restaurant;
- ability to provide excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints;
- ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment;
- organizational and communication skills;
- basic knowledge of wine and cocktail service is a plus.
